At least you can tell what everything does.
A lot of shit to break, but at least it isn't mysteriously hidden under acres of plastic.

Rather than plastic, it is hidden under things that will inevitably go wrong.

It was nice of them to make everything to go wrong easy to access. Or maybe that's just stuff that they forgot about during the design process, and had to put it somewhere.

Well, let's approach this logically. It's got twin SU carbs attached to a V8 and a front hinged bonnet. The lights stick up somewhat from the surrounding bodywork. It's not therefore a Range Rover, a Rover P6 or a Rover SD1. Neither is a Stag.
Instead it's something rather more upmarket. Still British though. The engine is still in production.
